I will be reprising my role as a member of Circle in the Square Theatre School’s Alumni Performance Ensemble in a production of The Oldest Story Ever Told, directed by Justin Boccitto.
The Oldest Story Ever Told is a retelling of the classic Cinderella story, featuring three different ancient tales that feature the Cinderella theme from various cultures and countries. I portray a variety of roles in this 4-person cast, utilizing mask work and puppetry skills.
The Alumni Performance Ensemble offers low cost, quality theatre for students in grades K-6. The production runs February 7-18, Monday-Friday, and will perform on the Broadway stage at Circle in the Square in New York City.
I may also be working with Kelly Varley, technical director at Circle in the Square, to design and build new puppets for this production.
—UPDATE—
Check out the pictures of the puppet I designed for this production in my Photo Gallery.
