finding the perfect present. It’s about sharing a
special moment with the people you love.
And finding a way to thank them for the
wonderful things they have done for you. I
know exactly what to do!”

So Little Kane got off the
cold ice and hurried home.

When Christmas came, Mom and Dad found
a special gift waiting for them. Little Kane
had found a way to share the spirit of
Christmas with his parents.

They had only one thing to
say about this special gift:

He strapped on his skates and got onto the ice. He
was really skating quite well, when suddenly-

SPLAT!!! Little Kane had fallen onto the ice.
“Ouch, that hurts.” But as he stared up at the
giant tree and the beautiful sky he began to think…

And Times Square did have plenty to choose from. Tickets
to shows, restaurants, shops… But nothing was “perfect.”

Little Kane was sad as he sipped his Eggnog Latte.
“I don’t think I’ll ever find the perfect present.” Little
Kane decided to try to cheer himself up by going to
Rockefeller Center and skating on the ice.

Columbus Circle had a mall. He found lots of books,
and cooking supplies, and cool futuristic televisions.

But nothing was “perfect.”

“One last stop,” Little Kane thought.
“Times Square has to have the greatest gift.”

“… 5th Avenue.” And he was right. Lots of fancy shops for clothes, and toys, and gizmos.

So Little Kane walked across the park. He had remembered something that got his hopes up.
